How much does it cost in the local market?

There are six Toyota Innova variants to choose from here in the country. The entry-level Innova J Manual costs PHP1,186,000, while the Innova E Manual is at PHP1,295,000 and PHP1,365,000 for its automatic transmission variant. On the other hand, the Innova G Manual is priced at PHP1,522,000 while PHP1,592,000 for the G Automatic. Its top-spec Innova V is only available in automatic variants and carries a price tag of PHP1,739,000.

That price range is one of the strongest edges of the Toyota Innova in the market and is getting the patronage of customers. But spitting out money from your bank pockets doesn't end there as maintenance cost comes your way, just like having a baby of your own – as it ages, it costs more to maintain a car. Yes, with the oil price hike here and there, you will surely be affected financially. But aside from that, there is another maintenance cost that you have to consider before taking the Innova as a part of your responsibility.

We can't say that you can save by getting the Innova because it's a diesel engine, especially today when the cost of diesel has gone more expensive than gasoline. But in terms of maintenance, a diesel-powered car is cheaper than gasoline as it has lesser components. However, if we are going to add based on actual figures, the Innova will cost you some thousands in its first year.

Standard maintenance costs in the Philippines cost around PHP2,000 to 3,000 for the first 1,000 and 5,000 kilometers run, and the cost varies as the mileage progresses. Once your Innova reached 10,000 kilometers, you will be facing double the amount at PHP4,000 to PHP6,000, and so on. Although prices vary depending on how you will use the Innova at what is its condition, the prices keep on soaring as time goes on. If your Innova has reached 70,000-kilometer mileage in a year, it will cost you an estimate of PHP54,000 to PHP69,000, depending on the condition of the unit and other factors.
