DISCLOSURE: Nissan Philippines Inc. kindly lent me a 2023 Nissan Terra Sport for one week. It arrived with a full tank of fuel and loaded RFID cards. Special-edition vehicles typically bring something fresh to the market. They often have features previously unavailable with the nameplate to differentiate them from the standard model. This is what Nissan Philippines did with the Nissan Terra Sport as it reignites the nameplate with a few aesthetic additions that give the vehicle a new lease on li

If you've been a car enthusiast back in the '80s until the '90s, chances are you hung out at the Creekside parking lot in Greenhills on a Saturday night. With Bass Hour blaring from custom car audio setups, moonglow underbody lights, and the occasional twin-side carburetor-equipped Toyotas and emerging B16 VTEC DOHC converted EG hatches prowling the lot for their next quarter-mile victim along Ortigas and later on, White Plains avenue, this was what Fast and the Furious Part One was like in the

Despite having its “Sweet 16” on December 2023, the latest iteration of this iconic Japanese supercar still has what it takes to stick it to the likes of what Europe has to offer. Indeed, the R35’s long-time rival has been the Porsche 911 Turbo, which has been revamped over three generations (997, 991 and the current 992). But the latest scoop from Japanese car magazine BestCarWeb may see a completely new rival for the ne

Nissan has stated that it plans to make an entry-level sports car that could rival the likes of the Toyota GR86/Subaru BR-Z. While the brand already has two sports cars at its disposal, namely the Nissan Z and the legendary R35 GT-R, these are typically out of reach for most younger buyers. The plans come from an interview with Top Gear UK, where Nissan senior vice president of global product planning Ivan Espinosa said he has a dream plan for the Japanese automaker to introduce an all-new model

The R35 Nissan GT-R is turning 16 years old on December 2023. Put another way, the legendary Japanese supercar has been in production longer than all of its all-wheel-drive Skyline GT-R predecessors combined (the range was produced from 1989 to 2002). Although the R35 still has what it takes to do battle with the latest European supercars, its time will eventually come to an end. And perhaps, the next generation of this iconic nameplate can be found in the Nissan Hyper Force concept electric veh
