Looking sharp! Nissan Hyper Urban Concept to debut at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show

Nissan is set to debut the Nissan Hyper Urban Concept at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, featuring aggressive and sharp futuristic styling.

Nissan is set to showcase multiple new vehicle concepts at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. One of the stars of its concept car lineup is the Nissan Hyper Urban Concept, which sports aggressive and angular styling.

The new aggressive styling is meant to showcase the Japanese automaker’s new design language for the future. Also, it showcases a bit of the future technology the brand has in mind.

The concept car was revealed digitally within the Nissan Technical Center in Atsugi, Kanagawa, the Nissan Hyper Urban is set to complement the taste of its future target market, which are urbanites and suburban-based professionals who prioritize environmental sustainability but also want something sporty.

The front of the vehicle gets full-width LED lighting elements, while its bumpers and side skirts are finished in glossy black to resemble body cladding. The colors of the concept car contrast well with one another, especially with the neon yellow paint and carbon fiber accents. We must also note its sharp aerodynamic design of alloy wheels wrapped in huge tires.

While the concept car looks like a two-door crossover, it is a four-door car, as its rear opens up in a scissor-door-like fashion to unveil its spacious and futuristic interior.

Its cabin has the same yellow paint inside, with futuristic seats and ambient lighting on the sides. The rear seats of the concept also come with ottomans and a large media display for a more relaxing riding experience.

Powertrain options are still unknown, but given that it is a concept car, it will likely be an electric vehicle with hardware and software updates playing a key role in Hyper Urban’s design philosophy.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Nissan Hyper Urban concept as it is set to make its official debut at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.
