A new generation of opulence: Lexus LM launches in the Philippines, starts at P7.578M

The 2024 Lexus LM launches in the Philippines with two variants available, a 7-seater and a more opulent 4-seater model.

Lexus Philippines has just launched the 2024 Lexus LM as its new generation of luxury MPV.

While its sibling, the Toyota Alphard, is already one very premium vehicle, the LM cranks it all the way to 11 to deliver you only the finest experiences. It is currently available in two variants: the first is a seven-seater model, while the other is a more luxurious four-seater.

However, at the front, the MPV gets a massive grille that dominates its front fascia and sharp LED headlights that look nothing like those seen on its Toyota counterpart.

At the back, the Lexus MPV has a more premium design for its tailgate area, as the garnish is sleeker and thinner than the Toyota Alphard. However, it does get a different set of LED taillights with an LED strip extending along the width of the tailgate.

Inside is where the Lexus LM shines as you are greeted by premium materials. Both variants of the MPV come with power Ottoman seats as standard and a smartphone that acts as a remote control, enabling you to control the air conditioning, audio and lighting independently.

The device also lets you control the sunshades, seat position and ambient lighting. The second row also gets access to ventilated seats with a massage function. Lexus has also doubled down on the audio system for the LM by giving it a 21-speaker Mark Levinson 3D surround system.

While the standard features are already great as it is, the four-seater model of the LM takes luxury to the next level as it removes the third row to give passengers at the back even more space.

Distinguishing it from the seven-seater model, the four-seater variant gets a partition that separates the driver from the rear passengers. A glass panel also sides up from the partition to give those riding in the back more privacy.

The partition has more tricks as passengers can be entertained by a massive screen at the back, turning the LM into a mobile cinema with matching cold drinks as the MPV has an onboard refrigerator.

Like the Toyota Alphard, the Lexus LM is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. Together, they push out 246 horsepower and 316 Nm of torque.

However, unlike its Toyota sibling, the Lexus is all-wheel drive, giving it more traction when needed.

Pricing for the 2024 Lexus LM is as follows:

  • LM 350h 7-seater – ₱7,578,000
  • LM 350h 4-seater – ₱11,808,000
