If you like fine cars, you'll also like fine art. At least, that's what Mini Philippines is banking on as it transforms its BGC showroom into an art gallery until October 25, 2023.
The Autohub Group, distributor of Mini vehicles in the Philippines, and Cloud Grey Gallery have partnered in an exhibition highlighting the rich history, cultural impact, and trend-setting design of Mini cars.
Featuring works of Cloud Grey artists Keb Cerda, Ronson Culibrina, Igan D'Bayan, Rolando "Olan" Ventura, Roldan "Manok" Ventura, and Ronald Ventura, the exhibit showcases paintings and model cars used as canvasses to express their creativity using the Mini as inspiration.
The exhibit's centerpiece is celebrated artist Ronald Ventura's own Mini Convertible, stylized with graphics and stickers.
Aside from the car, various art pieces and creations are on display and for sale at the exhibit. Some of the artworks have already been sold even before the start of viewing last September 25th.
The month-long gallery is an "out-of-the-box" marketing campaign by Autohub Group with plans to expand the brand collaboration with its other marques, such as Lotus, Triumph, and Vespa.
The showroom gallery will also host collectors and enthusiasts of collectible items. "We also want to invite all those who collect watches, wine, sneakers and any type of collector who would like to see limited edition stuff; we can invite them to our event," says Willy Tee Ten, president of Autohub Group.
The whole effort lines up nicely with Mini's positioning as a premium brand. With its models' timeless and chic design, Mini is well-poised for the art appreciation market.
Would you like to personally see and appreciate the works of renowned artist Ronald Ventura and the Cloud Grey Gallery? The Mini showroom in BGC is the place to visit.
