So, we have good news and bad news.
The bad news, Bristol will not be bringing in the QJ Motor version of the recently-launched Harley-Davidson X350. The good news, we will have the QJ Motor SRV 400 tollway-legal cruiser by June of this year.
Now, we all wanted an affordable Harley-Davidson(ish) cruiser and we were kind of hoping that the X350 QJ Motor version would be it but Bristol, now the official distributor of QJ Motor in the Philippines, had a better idea.
The QJ Motor SRV 400 is powered by a liquid-cooled, SOHC, 2-Cylinder V-Twin, 400cc engine, with a maximum power of 28 kW @ 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. Aside from affording you the freedom to ride on tollways, its V-twin mill makes it more Harley-Davidson(ish) than the X350 which sports a parallel-twin. Further, the SRV 400 is styled like a proper cruiser. In fact, it closely resembles Harley-Davidson’s Sportster albeit having only a third of its displacement.
How much is it?
You may now reserve an SRV 400 unit at an introductory price of ₱ 298,000. If you are having trouble believing it then I suggest you head out to the Bristol Caloocan showroom see the actual unit on display. They might event offer you a test ride. Just be prepared to make an impulse buy. V-twin rumble will do that to you.
