After much anticipation, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) finally unveiled the all-new BeAT during the Honda Moto Fair 2023 held at Market! Market! in Taguig City.
This latest iteration of Honda’s entry-level scooter is lighter and more powerful, thanks to a slightly bigger engine and a new Enhanced Smart Architecture Frame (eSAF).
Updated styling
The all-new BeAT had elevated its new body and color design.
The result is a striking youthful look that entices a younger demographic to embrace the motorcycle lifestyle. It is also available in three variants: the Playful, the Premium and the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition.
The ₱71,400 Playful variant comes in eye-catching colors like Fighting Red, Pearl Sylvestris Gray, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Clipper Yellow.
Meanwhile, the Premium variant at ₱72,400 comes with a new 3D emblem and gold color cast wheels. It is available in Pearl Arctic White and Matte Axis Gray.
Finally, the ₱74,400 HPI 50th Anniversary Limited Edition variant features a Pearl Arctic White color, new accents and a front-mounted 50th Anniversary logo to enable riders to experience a sense of exclusivity.
Improved performance
The all-new BeAT is propelled by an air-cooled 110cc ESP engine, which is capable of producing 9 PS and 9.3 Nm of torque.
Honda’s PGM-FI technology enables this scooter to achieve an impressive claimed fuel economy figure of 58.2 km/l. Combined with its large 4.2-liter gas tank, this scoot can handle long, worry-free trips.
The all-new BeAT is equipped with an ACC power socket that can work with most adaptors for easy and convenient smartphone charging. It also features a new integrated seat opener and a more spacious 12-liter underseat capacity.
HPI also proudly announced that the all-new BeAT is manufactured locally to better address the demand of customers it is already available at Honda dealerships nationwide.
