2022 Ford F-150 Short Review with 6 Pros and 2 Cons, Is it a perfect car?

If there is an achiever's award in the automotive field, the Ford F-150 is a good candidate in the pickup truck class as it has received numerous accolades throughout its years of existence. It has been widely used as a police patrol truck and has won several awards in motorsports. But behind every nod of approval are different versions from different people.

Pros

It has an enormous road presence.

Most pickup trucks have dominating presence on the road, but the Ford F-150 is on top above all as it has been called the King of Pickup Trucks several times in the past years because of its enormous body build and monstrous features and performance. Sure, there are popular and highly capable pickup trucks today, like its siblings Ford Ranger and Ford Ranger Raptor, but the F-150 was built with premium materials and enormous dimensions that are appealing on the road. It gives the impression that it dominates other vehicles around it and that it was made for colossal activities inside and outside of the city.

It has a sophisticated and comfortable cabin.

Despite that the build of the F-150 is enormous and beasty, its cabin is sophisticated-looking and impressively comfortable as a whole. The seats are all premium from the driver's to all the passengers at the back. It all comes with headrests and a seat heating function. Although I don't think that the seat heating function would be necessary here in the Philippines, it adds to its total comfortability. The dashboard panel is also impressive as it was sophisticatedly designed with premium-looking materials and rich-feeling knobs and buttons. The cabin also has a sunroof that adds a free feeling to its generously spacious legroom and headroom.

It has a beyond-satisfying performance.

Besides the fact that the Ford F-150 has been adored because of its masculine build, it has also been adored because of its beasty performance. Its reputation has always been an icon to the automotive industry and its competitors in the field. If there is a pickup truck model that its rivals look up to, it is none other than the Ford f-150. Its off-road and racetrack performance is stunning, which is why it has been awarded several recognitions in the past years by reputable award-giving bodies and motorsport activities. Aside from that, its towing and payload capacity is the best in its class.

It now comes with a more fuel-efficient engine.

One of the few complaints about the previous F-150 versions is its poor fuel efficiency. As it comes with tremendous engine properties and massive body build, instead of complaining, others believe that it is tantamount to having a great amount of output. For whatever reason's behind it, the point remains that it has a poor fuel efficiency rating. And as Ford responds to feedback, it introduced the 2022 F-150 with a promise that this pickup truck has a more fuel-efficient engine than before. The good thing is that its fuel efficiency has been made possible without sacrificing its powerful powertrain components and enormous capacity.

It comes with several features.

Aside from its powerful powertrain components, Ford F-150 is impressive in many ways and aspects. It comes with the industry's finest and latest innovations to help the driver and the passengers. Ford makes it a point to include every helpful feature to impress its customers, like its retractable step boards on both sides of the truck for the passengers to access the cabin safely. At the back, it also has a hidden step board and grab handle in the tailgate to easily access the cargo bed, which is very considerate and forward-thinking.

The infotainment system is premium.

The F-150 comes with a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, which is very seldom in pickup trucks. Not only that it comes with a massive multitask screen, but it comes with the latest and most premium functions to help and entertain all the occupants. The entertainment unit delivers through its premium speakers around the cabin.

Cons

It is hard to maneuver inside the city.

Given the fact that with the mammoth build of the Ford F-150, it is hard for the driver to maneuver it inside the city, especially in the Philippines where heavy traffic situations are inevitable and getting in and out of narrow spaces could be challenging too. This type of vehicle is ideal to use outside the city for an off-road adventure or other load-carrying travels.

It costs more than its competitors in the market.

Certainly, the F-150 is one of the most expensive pickup trucks available in the local market today. There are reasons behind its whopping price, including its enormous build and segment-leading performance. But if we are to base it solely on the figures, it is not a good choice if you're on a budget.
