What Makes the Nissan GT-R the Total Package?

Different car buyers have different preferences and criteria for the car they want or need. Some people prefer good looks over functionality while others consider performance over aesthetics. Tech features are also a deal-breaker nowadays, as well as advanced safety features.

Families prefer big SUVs over sedans to have more cabin space that can accommodate several occupants. Businesses often prefer cargo movers like vans and trucks. Some individuals go for standard sedans and subcompact crossovers. And then there are car enthusiasts who are into sports cars and grand tourers.

A motorsport enthusiast doesn't care how fuel-efficient his sports car is. He is after the overall race track performance of his steed. What he often considers is its stunning torque and engine capabilities, as well as its responsive handling. There are several sports cars to consider in the market, but the Nissan GT-R has been one of the clear favorites of many enthusiasts because of its legendary legacy on the track. A few people say that the GT-R has lost its appeal as it has aged compared to its fresher rivals. But they have often been proven wrong because whenever someone takes the GT-R to the track, it remains as agile and overpowering as it did 15 years ago.

The GT-R is truly the Godzilla of race cars and the true Supercar Killer of all time. Its 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine which produces 570 horses and 637 Nm of torque, along with its six-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivers performance beyond what the numbers suggest.

However, even though the GT-R is the fastest JDM sports car ever built, it still delivers an impressive fuel economy of around 7.8 kilometers per liter. This is unexpected for an aggressive sports car that never fails to leave a mark on the race track. Its fuel efficiency makes it ideal for you to take on a daily city drive and it is one of the few sports cars that can actually be both a daily driver and a track monster at the same time.
