The 2022 Jeep Gladiator: Does It have High Fuel Consumption?

When it comes to power and style, you can never go wrong with the 2022 Jeep Gladiator. The brand's legacy speaks about its products' robustness and agility over the years. Unlike other pickup trucks today, the Jeep Gladiator has a distinct, iconic look and robustness about it that makes it stand out in the market. As enthusiasts would say, "Iba ‘yung Jeep." And we reckon, it will remain in the market even as its competitors change and evolve. It's a Jeep and that means its legacy, power, capabilities, and characteristics are already embedded in the automotive world.

There are certain traits that Jeep vehicles absolutely excel in. One of those is versatility. The Jeep Gladiator is like its brother the Jeep Wrangler, which has a removable and customizable roof, doors, windshields, and tailgate.

If you're an adventurer and you like having fun off-roading, you will definitely have a good time driving over rocky and muddy terrains. But, having fun over dirt and mud has its consequence. For one, you will have to deal with cleaning the car after a trip. And that's when you'll appreciate the Jeep Gladiator as it is easy for you to clean and maintain because the interiors are easily washable.

Second. there is no doubt that the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine works well to get you through any off-road adventure you are looking for. The engine and transmission combo has been tested throughout the years, and it has gotten better over the last two decades since it was introduced. However, the dilemma is that because of its torque-spewing displacement, it is a massive fuel-hungry machine. It's frustrating to think about that every time you plan for an adventure. It is indeed a Gladiator as it performs impressively both on- and off-road, but its 5 kilometers per liter inside the city and 10 kilometers per liter on the highway fuel consumption is not the part of any adventure you'd like to remember.

But that is indeed the price for the capability and versatility of the Jeep Gladiator. There's no such thing as a free lunch. And if you're willing to pay the price to play, then the rewards will be immeasurable.
