Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) kicked off the construction of a much larger showroom in San Pablo, Laguna.
The company said in an October 2022 press statement that it held the groundbreaking ceremony of Isuzu San Pablo’s new location along Km 85 Maharlika Highway in Barangay San Ignacio.
The dealership will be built on a 7,220-square-meter lot that can accommodate larger display units, such as light commercial vehicles and trucks, and a more spacious service center.
Isuzu San Pablo has been serving customers from its 2,145-square-meter lot on Colago Avenue since June 2001.
“With the strategic location of the new site, we continue to have high hopes for Isuzu San Pablo and we are confident that you will not only continue to uphold Isuzu’s endeavor of providing the best business and transport solutions but also our Road to Progress vision,” said IPC president Noboru Murakami in a speech.
Isuzu San Pablo is one of the dealers under Gencars Inc., which was established on October 1978 by the late businessman and media mogul Antonio Cabangon-Chua. He also served as the Philippine Ambassador to Laos under former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
“With this upgrade, we hope to give our clients the best experience every time they step into our dealership,” said Gencars Inc. chair and CEO Edgard Cabangon, who is the late ambassador’s son.
“Whether they are looking for their next vehicle or seeking services for their cars, we want them to be comfortable and feel cared for during their time here,” he added.
Gencars Inc. also handles Isuzu dealerships in Makati, Batangas, Legazpi, Naga and Santa Rosa, Laguna.
