Ahead of the great acts at the Isuzu Summer Music Festival, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) unveiled two headliners of its own.
The Japanese carmaker officially debuted the updated versions of the Isuzu D-MAX pick-up and the Isuzu mu-X sport-utility vehicle (SUV).
The D-MAX now has a redesigned exterior that boasts a new two-tone front grille matched with its new dark-matte-gray, 18-inch alloy wheels, laden in its new body color Islay Gray.
Meanwhile, the new mu-X new look is a result of its new sleek, two-tone front grille and new 20-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also has a classy new color variant, Norwegian Blue, which is available for LS-E variants.
To top it all off, the new Isuzu mu-X further elevates the family experience with its new owner-friendly features like the new Smart Power Tailgate with Step Sensor.
This allows the owner to open the tailgate automatically through advanced key detection and sensor technology for more convenient loading and unloading of luggage.
“As your responsible partner in providing durable and reliable vehicles, we are elevating your driving experience with a safer, more efficient, and more comfortable drive – a drive that will suit the needs of all members of the family,” said IPC president Tetsuya Fujita.
More than the aesthetics, IPC highlighted the renowned durability and safety features of both models.
Both D-MAX and mu-X still use the BluePower 4JJ3-TCX turbodiesel engine.
In addition, both models are awarded with 5-Star rating by the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme, thanks to the active and passive safety features, as well as Advanced Driver Assist System with Smart Duo Cam.
This also includes Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Turn Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Functionality, to name a few.
