The Covenant Car Company Inc (TCCCI), the distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the Philippines, has officially announced that the 2024 Chevrolet Trax will make its local debut on July 4, 2023.

The Golden Bowtie brand has yet to release the full specifications for its upcoming crossover SUV but has dropped some hints about what you can expect.

The new generation of the Trax is bigger and beefier than its predecessor, bringing fresh, more aggressive, and sleeker styling. It introduces a bolder, more athletic look incorporating the brand’s global design language.

The new Trax also carries all LED lighting elements across all variants, and the unique wheel design perfectly accentuates the vehicle's overall character.

The crossover SUV has grown 279mm longer and 51mm wider than the previous model. With these dimension increases, customers can expect a more spacious cabin inside the Trax with room for five passengers.

On the inside is the 2024 Chevrolet Trax with a modern interior dominated by two large displays. The first is an 8-inch display for the digital instrument cluster, while the second is for the infotainment system.

Depending on your variant, the crossover can come with an 8-inch or 11-inch touchscreen. Regardless of the variant, it will come with Apple Carplay and Android Auto capabilities.

Cargo space has also gone up for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax, as it now has a maximum capacity of 1,450 liters worth of space.

The crossover SUV will be available in the Philippines in three variants, the LT, the Redline, and the RS model.

Under the hood, the Chevrolet Trax is powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet Philippines has yet to reveal the official power output of the crossover, but we expect it to be around 139 PS and 219 Nm of torque.

Other available creature comforts in the Trax are the following:

  • Electronic Parking Brake with Brake Auto Hold
  • Smart Key Passive Entry
  • Center console with storage spaces, rear air vents, and USB ports
  • Flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls for the Redline and RS trims
  • 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat for the Redline and RS trims
  • Reverse Camera
  • Exclusive features in the RS trim include:
  • Wireless phone charging
  • Power liftgate with height adjust
  • Electric Sunroof

Chevrolet Philippines has yet to release the official pricing of the all-new Trax. However, we expect the crossover to be priced somewhere in the neighbourhood of around ₱1.6 to ₱1.9 million.

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax will debut on July 4, when fans and interested customers can catch the premier live on the official Facebook page of Chevrolet Philippines at 6 PM.
