2024 Kia Sorento official facelift reveals new changes inside and outside of the SUV

Images of the facelifted 2024 Kia Sorento have been revealed for its mid-cycle refresh, showcasing a new front for the SUV and other changes inside the vehicle.

Starting with the front of the Kia Sorento, we see a completely reworked front fascia that now comes with new T-shaped LED headlights with an upper daytime running light strip located near the hood of the SUV and close to the brand’s logo, which is positioned on the hood.

Moving on the side of the 2024 Kia Sorento, it retains its familiar body shape and design. As this is just a refresh, don’t expect any radical changes here aside from a new set of alloy wheels.

At the back, the changes to the SUV are yet again subtle. Kia has discreetly revised the LED taillights, giving them new graphics that meet at the front rather than being separated like in the pre-facelifted model. The South Korean automaker has also slightly revised the reverse flights beneath the SUV’s silver skid plate.

Updated interior

Inside, the 2024 Kia Sorento retains the same cabin layout and design, but there are subtle changes done to the vehicle. Its vertical air vents in the dashboard's center have been replaced with slimmer vents to make room for its new infotainment system.

There are also new colors for the Sorento interior, as it can now be had in Interstellar Grey, Volcanic S, Brown, and Cityscape Green.

Aside from this, climate controls have also been modernized for the SUV, giving it capacitive touch controls similar to what you would find on the Kia EV6. Security has also been beefed up for the Sorento, which now has a fingerprint authentication system.

As of now, this is the only information available for the 2024 Kia Sorento, as it is expected to make its official launch sometime in mid-August.

Do you think Kia Philippines should bring in the facelifted Sorento?
