What's happening in BGC this Aug 4 to 6? Audi, Toyota, And Lexus have special displays just for you!

 

Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is the place to be from August 4 to 6, as three brands have special launches and displays around the bustling city. 

Expect to see multiple displays and activities to be held near or at the High Street area, with Toyota Philippines set to launch the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross, Lexus with its display of electrified vehicles, and Audi, which is set to launch the all-new Audi Q8 e-tron.

That said, here is what you can expect, along with the event details from each automaker. 

Audi

Audi Philippines will be launching its all-new Audi Q8 e-tron SUV in BGC. The new electric-only SUV brings a new look and features and boasts improvements to its efficiency and range. 

Its battery capacity and charging performance have been increased, allowing for an optimal balance between energy density and charging capacity. Audi has also tweaked the motors and power steering to be more progressive. The chassis control systems have also been revised to give it better dynamic driving characteristics.

Aside from the launch, the German brand will hold the Audi Driving Experience from August 4 to 6 at the 30th East B Open Parking in Bonifacio Global City. There, eventgoers can experience a series of driving activities designed to showcase the capabilities and advantages offered by Audi’s electrified models and dispel any misconceptions about the brand’s 100% electricity driving range.

Toyota Motor Philippines is set to launch the 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross on August 4 to 6 at the BGC High Street Amphitheater at 11 AM. The new Yaris Cross will close the market gap between the Toyota Raize and the Toyota Corolla Cross while bringing in hybrid power at a more affordable price range.

The new crossover will come with three variants available; the first two are gasoline-powered models, while the top-spec variant is a new 1.5-liter hybrid.

The gasoline models are expected to make around 106 PS and 138 Nm of torque. The hybrid model makes 91 PS and 121 Nm, assisted by a lithium-ion powered electric motor that provides an extra 89 PS and 141 Nm of torque.

2024 Toyota Yaris Cross 1.5V CVT – PHP 1,296,000

Lexus

On the other hand, Lexus will bring lifestyle activities and test drives to BGC from August 4 to 6.

The Japanese automaker will showcase its electrified lineup, including the recently launched Lexus RZ 450e, which eventgoers can test drive.

Aside from this, the Japanese brand also has exclusive Lexus coffee and matcha drinks crafted by Matcha Tokyo available at the event. The Signet Store will also be present and give special gift certificates to those looking to buy or reserve a Lexus during the event. 

Personalized Lexus-branded keychains will also be given away to special guests.

Lexus will also have a virtual golf simulator wherein guests can swing and see where they stack up against professional golfers. The Japanese brand will also offer branded golf-related merchandise and accessories.

The display will also be in the BGC High Street Amphitheater near the Toyota Yaris Cross display. The event starts at 10 AM and lasts until 6 PM.
