Jetour Philippines celebrates 100 days in the local market, set to launch 4 new models

Jetour Philippines has just celebrated 100 days in the local automotive market.

During this period, the new Chinese brand has achieved several key milestones that have become keys to its success.

However, the brand isn’t done yet and has shown no sights of slowing down, as it has just announced that it will be adding four new models to its local lineup in the coming months.

4 more cars!

Out of the four new models, the first will likely be the Jetour T2, which is a  quintessential sport-utility vehicle (SUV) with a boxy exterior design and 4x4 capabilities.

It is expected to arrive as early as September 2023 for around ₱2.2 million.

Next, the Chinese automaker is set to launch the plug-in-hybrid electric vehicle version of the Jetour Dashing.

The automaker initially launched the Dashing with turbocharged gasoline power. This new hybrid model will expand Jetour Philippines' lineup and is rumored to be priced at around ₱1.8 million.

Jetour will also be entering the 7-seater SUV segment with the X90 Plus, which will go head to head against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X, Nissan Terra, Ford Everest and Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Finally, the Chinese automaker will introduce the Jetour X50, which is rumored to be its electric vehicle (EV) entry into the local market. However, take this information with a grain of salt, as no official details are available yet for this upcoming model.

Besides the T2, we expect at least one more new Jetour to come to the Philippines before the end of 2023 and the others to arrive within the first half of 2024.

With these powerhouse models, the Chinese automaker is well on reaching its goal of 50,000 units sold in the next five years.
