Get up to ₱300 rebate when you use the new myTOYOTA Wallet e-money feature until Oct. 31

Toyota Motor Philippines is making payments for its services more convenient with myTOYOTA Wallet.

More and more carmakers are relying on in-house smartphone apps to help customers not only monitor their vehicles, but also pay for services.

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has the myTOYOTA Connect app, which has various functions like tracking your vehicle and keeping tabs on preventive maintenance schedules.

The Japanese carmaker announced in a September 2023 press statement that it has tied up with BPI for myTOYOTA Wallet, which is a mobile payment solution from Toyota Financial Services Philippines that brings together multiple payment options in a single app.

Customers have the flexibility to choose the payment method they want – either e-money stored in their myTOYOTA Wallet or their linked credit or debit cards.

As a launch offer, registered customers can get a rebate of up to ₱300 (or 2 percent of the transaction price) when they use their myTOYOTA Wallet’s e-money feature to pay for their Toyota services, parts, accessories and insurance at Toyota dealerships nationwide.

TMP said new customers can simply download the myTOYOTA Wallet app from Google Play or the App Store. The user must then register and apply for an upgraded account by submitting a government-issued I.D. and a selfie, then wait for the verification process to be completed.

Once upgraded, customers may cash in using their BPI deposit account. The promo runs from July 10 to Oct. 31, 2023.

Do apps like myTOYOTA Connect help make transactions with the casa easier?
