Tugz tugz na! The first-ever JBL Car Audio Tunefest is coming this November 11

The first-ever Car Audio Tunefest is coming this November 11, 2023, and it will be hosted by JBL Philippines.

JBL Philippines has something special planned for November as the audio company is hosting its first-ever JBL Car Audio Tunefest, which is set to happen on November 11, 2023.

The event is designed to celebrate the passion and excitement of sound mobility. It's open to everyone who loves cars, car audio, and music and wants to get their next upgrade for their vehicle.

It is co-presented by Stance Philippines/ Manila Fitted, Manila Street Chronicles, and Bumper-to-Bumper Car Show and supported by the European Mobile Media Association (EMMA) Philippines.

What to expect

The main attraction of the event is the JBL Car Audio Competition. There, you will hear and see the latest set-ups from the country’s most respected car audio installers and tuners, that have specially crafted their vehicles to produce the best sound possible for both in-car and “loud’ setups.

They will also battle it out at the event to see which setup will rein supreme in multiple categories. Who knows, you might be inspired to follow in their footsteps to set up your car.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as those into cars will be treated to stunning rides from some of the most popular car meet communities and car clubs. They will treated to a wide variety of builds, from race-inspired to custom one-offs and more.

Aside from this, eventgoers will also see the latest highlights from the country’s leading car manufacturers, which are ready to display their latest lineup of vehicles.

Merchandise will also be available from SPMF, MSC, Buzzhype Motorsport, BanaweBoy, and
EverSince Street Club. Special prizes will also be up for grabs as the JBL Car Audio Tunefest will have a raffle, giveaways, and merchandise from JBL Car Audio and its partners throughout the event.

So, what are you waiting for? This could be your chance to hear good music, “tambay,” with the boys and enjoy the good vibes of a special kind of car meet.

Hyundai Malaysia has just previewed the 2023 Hyundai Tucson with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 1.6T Max variant at the Premium Auto Car Expo 2023. The new variant serves as the new top-of-the-line offering for the 5-seater crossover. Thanks to our colleagues from Wapcar, we got a quick preview of what the new top-spec model offers and how it can be a game changer if Hyundai Philippines were to bring it in. If you are familiar with what the 5-seater crossover currently provid
Not all cars at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show were concepts. Some were actually production models either launched in Japan at JMS, or already sold in the country. Let's take a look at some of the more interesting cars that various JMS exhibitors decided to showcase at this year's show. The 2024 Ford Mustang offers a hearty 487 PS from its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine. Launched on September 2022, the all-new muscle car gets subtle styling changes from the previous Mustang, but with a revamped cabin and a bevy of advanced powerplants. Ford Philippines has yet to disclose when this latest generation Mustang will be launched locally. But for those who want more oomph, Ford Performance unveiled its new supercharger kit at the SEMA Show 2023 for the famous pony car, bolte
The latest-generation Ford Territory Titanium is one of the best value-for-money compact crossovers in the Philippines. I reviewed one and genuinely liked it – although its sheer size betrays its “compact” designation. What does remain rather small is its Php 1,335,000 pricetag, which undercuts even compact sedans like the Honda Civic. And now, Ford Philippines is hoping that you say “Yes” to its newest promos. The company announced in a November 2023 press statement that it is holding its Year-
The recent “Undas” week gave us all the chance to reflect not only about those who have left us, but also about our own lives. For those who stayed in Metro Manila, it has been a pleasant mix of clear roads, good weather and occasional rain showers. And for those who drove out of town, it was a chance to spend up to a week away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It really makes you wonder about what the Philippines would be like if economic development were spread all throughout the archip
