Surprise! The next-gen Ranger is Ford Philippines' top-selling model

Well, no surprises here really as the next-generation Ford Ranger leads the American brand's lineup, with sales growing by 22 percent from a year ago to 9,113 vehicles sold. It also re-claimed its leadership in the 4x4 pickup segment with 4,396 units sold from January to September 2023, a whopping 38% market share.

The American carmaker shared its sales numbers in a recent release, revealing it has risen by 42% over last year's numbers to the tune of 23,091 in 2023. Ford Philippines also reported that its sales performance in September this year is now the brand's highest monthly retail performance since May 2020 at 3,391 vehicles sold.

Meanwhile, the all-new Ford Territory likewise held its own in the small SUV segment which Ford says it has cornered 46% of. With the previous Territory already popular, the new model achieved an 8% growth for the nameplate, selling 6,955 units since its launch in April.

The Ford Everest also made its mark in the mid-size SUV segment as it became the second best-selling model in the segment with 6,693 vehicles sold, a staggering 255 percent increase from the previous year. In September, the Everest sold 1,254 units, emerging as the top-selling mid-size SUV in the country during the month.

“These milestones are a testament to our commitment to continue bringing our segment-leading vehicles and after-sales offerings to our customers,” says Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines. “We thank our growing community of customers, enthusiasts, and fans for their support to the Ford brand and our dealers for their solid partnership to improve the Ford ownership experience. We are excited to cap another successful year and make our customers say YES to new adventures and experiences with a brand-new Ford.”

You can still take advantage of Ford Philippines' Year-End Sale (YES) promo until December 31, 2023. With YES, customers can enjoy cash discounts, all-in low downpayment deals, low monthly fees or special service offers with a purchase of a Next-Gen Territory or Next-Gen Ranger.
