History
The Hyundai Creta, or Hyundai ix25 in China, is a dynamic subcompact crossover SUV crafted by Hyundai since 2014. Primarily aimed at emerging markets, particularly the BRIC nations, it showcases Hyundai's prowess in catering to diverse preferences.
The first model was launched in China in April 2014 as a near-production concept car, while the second-generation model debuted in 2019. This iteration also offers an extended version with three rows of seats. The new-generation Creta will be unveiled in the Philippines on June 20, 2022, alongside the launch of the fourth-generation Tucson, updated Santa Fe and Staria.
