Overview

The Toyota Tundra is the only full-size double cabin not available with a V-8 engine. Instead, the pickup truck is only offered with a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V-6 (6-valve) engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This double cabin car engine comes in two different variants. The standard engine version of the i-FORCE is capable of producing 389 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque. While the hybrid version features an integrated i-FORCE MAX electric motor that produces 437 hp and 583 pound-feet of torque. The 8-cylinder engine available in the 2021 model will not be offered again in the 2022 model. Toyota has further reduced cylinders in engine configurations as the smaller engine makes the combustion of the car's engine more efficient.

The power generated will be channeled to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Riding&control

Toyota Tundra 2022 has now changed the rear suspension from leaf springs to snail springs. Not only boosting on-road and off-road control, it also optimizes straight-line performance.
