Japan reports that Honda is carrying out the development of new Toyota Corolla Cross's rival, and suggests that it is probably launched later this year, around June to September 2022. Size-wise, the as-yet-unnamed SUV will slot between the all-new Honda HR-V and Honda CR-V. It will be platform mates with the Honda Civic, and is likely to be offered with a regular 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine or the e:HEV hybrid.
