As one of the pioneering Japanese motorcycle manufacturers globally, Suzuki boasts of a rich history that dates back to its inception.
Established in Hamamatsu, Japan, Suzuki initially started as a manufacturer of weaving machines. But it ventured into the motorcycle industry in the 1950s with the introduction of the Suzuki Power Free 36cc, a 2-cycle auxiliary bicycle engine.
Since then, Suzuki has been producing iconic machines that dominated motorcycle scenes of different eras.
These include the iconic Hayabusa, which was once hailed as the fastest production motorcycle, along with championship-winning bikes like the GSX-R series in MotoGP.
The company has also produced a wide variety of endurance bikes, daily commuters and adventure motorcycles.
A Filipino favorite
In the Philippines, Suzuki offers a diverse lineup of motorcycles designed to fulfill riders’ desires for various purposes.
The event also featured adrenalin-pumping models, such as the GSX-R1000, the GSX-8S, Gixxer 250, and the Gixxer 250SF, which shares the same DNA as the GSX-RR, a multiple-time MotoGP champion.
Additionally, Suzuki celebrated the Raider R150, which is part of the Underbone King family and marks its 20th year in the Philippine market.
