Peugeot Philippines is now one of the fastest-growing brands in the local market, with a 285% growth in overall retail sales in 2022. Since its change in leadership last year, the brand’s year-long sales momentum continued through December with unprecedented record month-on-month performance.
The French brand is seeking to carry that momentum into 2023 with more expansion plans and a new model set to launch sometime in Q4 of this year.
“It’s been a remarkable year for us, from beginning to end, and we’re extremely proud of how the allure of the Peugeot brand and our vehicles connect with so many Filipino customers. We’re grateful for the positive response of the market, for the investment and commitment of our dealers, and for the support of our friends in the media who helped share our story in 2022,” said Maricar Parco, brand head of Peugeot Philippines.

The growth of Peugeot in the Philippines is attributed to its refreshed lineup of vehicles, including the Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, Peugeot 5008, and the Peugeot Traveller Premium.
The Lion brand also capped off 2022 with more showrooms added to its nationwide dealership network totaling 13 operational facilities nationwide:
Dealerships in Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro are opening soon, plus more in the coming months to bring the brand closer to its target of 18 dealerships by year-end.
“We’re ramping up our efforts to grow our network aggressively in 2023, and key to that is
identifying new dealer partners who share our vision of building the Peugeot brand further in the
Philippines,” added Parco.
Peugeot wants to carry its momentum from 2022 into the new year as it plans to further expand the Peugeot lineup in the country by adding new variants to the current range.
We can expect new variants to pop up for the PEUGEOT 3008, PEUGEOT 5008, and PEUGEOT Traveller Premium. These are expected to enter the market sometime within the second quarter of 2023.
Aside from this, the Lion brand is also set to launch a new model by the fourth quarter of 2023 that will offer Filipinos a premium choice in a segment dominated by Asian and American brands.

This move will even benefit out-of-warranty vehicles, which can now get reasonably priced parts from the automaker while continuing to enjoy the Peugeot service at authorized service centers.
Peugeot is also set to launch its Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) program to give
customers added peace of mind while driving their Peugeot vehicle on the road. This program is supported by Ibero Asistencia, which is a global provider of roadside assistance services.
