Want to try an EV? Hyundai Philippines invites you for test drives at SM MOA this weekend

At the event, the South Korean automaker will let visitors get behind the wheel of its entire local lineup of vehicles, including the Creta, Stargazer, Staria, Tucson, and even one of its latest electric vehicles (EV), the IONIQ 5

“Hyundai is thrilled to once again be a part of Auto Focus’ bi-yearly activity, as it enables us to connect with more customers and provide them access to the latest cars and innovations that we have to offer,” said HMPH managing director Cecil Capacete.

“Technically, this is our second time to participate under the management of HMPH,” he added. “We couldn’t be more eager though to utilize this opportunity to continue sharing our campaign on uplifting the quality of life among Filipino motorists through smarter mobility options.”

Experience the EV lifestyle

People heading to the Hyundai booth can experience the EV lifestyle by test-driving the award-winning Hyundai IONIQ 5.

In 2022, the IONIQ 5 won the World Car of the Year thanks to its bold futuristic appearance, spaciousness, and its lineup of features. It was first showcased in the Philippines on September 2022, with sales beginning in March 2023.

The crossover utility vehicle is Hyundai’s first vehicle to use its pioneering Electric Global Modular Platform and integrated power electric system with multi-charging (400V/800V) technology.

Beat the heat with the IONIQ 6

Aside from the Hyundai IONIQ 5, its newer sibling, the Hyundai IONIQ 6, will be displayed at the event.

While the public won’t be able to drive it yet, Hyundai will use it to showcase its vehicle-to-load technology as it powers the brand’s ice cream bar at the event.

With that in mind, event-goers can look forward to sweet frozen treats to beat the heat and relax, which will be free upon registration.

Freebies and vouchers

Aside from the ice cream and test drive experience, Hyundai offers customers something special.

Those who sign up for a test drive will receive a Hyundai-branded golf umbrella, whereas those who make a reservation for a unit at the venue will receive a ₱10,000 discount voucher.

Will you head to Hyundai’s booth at SM MOA this weekend to try out the IONIQ 5?
