OMODA Philippines, a subsidiary of Omoda Global, has shared that it is confident that the 2024 Omoda 5 crossover SUV will be one of the safest vehicles in the Philippines once the brand officially launches later this year.

According to a statement by Omoda Philippines, the Omoda 5 is manufactured in the brand’s super factory, where almost everything is automated and powered by robotics. It allows Omoda to ensure the build quality of the crossover to deliver a very safe vehicle for future customers.

Lastly, the car was punished in the plant’s in-house crash test arena, where the Omoda 5 was subjected to multiple crash simulations at different angles and speeds.

The secret to safety

The Omoda 5’s success in the most rigorous Euro NCAP test is attributed to its emphasis on users' interests and its highest pursuit of quality. The crossover has been catered to meet the key demands of global consumers from the R&D and design stage.

The Omoda 5’s body consists of high-strength steel as the main structure, with steel accounting for 78%. It can withstand pressures of up to 1800Mpa. Equipped with the above ultra-high-strength materials, the cage body has been designed and manufactured to maintain its overall structure without deformation in a collision.
