OMODA Philippines, a subsidiary of Omoda Global, has shared that it is confident that the 2024 Omoda 5 crossover SUV will be one of the safest vehicles in the Philippines once the brand officially launches later this year.
According to a statement by Omoda Philippines, the Omoda 5 is manufactured in the brand’s super factory, where almost everything is automated and powered by robotics. It allows Omoda to ensure the build quality of the crossover to deliver a very safe vehicle for future customers.

In addition, the Omoda 5 also underwent an NVH reduction process in the super factory’s very own NVH Laboratory. This ensures a tranquil and comfortable cabin.
Lastly, the car was punished in the plant’s in-house crash test arena, where the Omoda 5 was subjected to multiple crash simulations at different angles and speeds.
With this stringent construction and testing, the Omoda 5 scored five stars in the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP).

The Omoda 5’s success in the most rigorous Euro NCAP test is attributed to its emphasis on users' interests and its highest pursuit of quality. The crossover has been catered to meet the key demands of global consumers from the R&D and design stage.
The Omoda 5’s body consists of high-strength steel as the main structure, with steel accounting for 78%. It can withstand pressures of up to 1800Mpa. Equipped with the above ultra-high-strength materials, the cage body has been designed and manufactured to maintain its overall structure without deformation in a collision.
As for the interior of the Omoda 5, it is equipped with seven airbags - including the driver and passenger seats, side airbag, side curtain, and middle airbag. All of which can provide all-around safety protection.
