GAC Philippines is on a roll as the brand is celebrating its 7-month streak of record sales performance. The brand achieved an impressive 276% year-over-year growth in sales as it managed to sell over 825 units during this period.

Franz Decloedt, marketing director of Astara Philippines, announced its recent sales success at the GAC Discovery Drive Fest, a three-day mall display and customer test drive event at the Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati City.

The special event will only last until August 27, 2023, allowing customers to experience the brand’s latest lineup of cars, including the recently launched GAC GS3 Emzoom, the GAC Emkoo, and the GAC Empow.

“We are elated to celebrate our exceptional 7-month streak in sales performance, which is a testament to our team's hard work, innovation, and the trust our customers have in us. Our brand's dedication to delivering cutting-edge vehicles that cater to the evolving needs and preferences of our Filipino customers has been the driving force behind this impressive sales trajectory,” Decloedt said.

Raoul Picello, managing director of Astara Philippines, formally opened the 3-day event with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of special guests.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has played a role in our success story – our customers who have chosen to drive with us, our partners who have supported our endeavors, and our dedicated team members who have worked tirelessly to make this all possible,” shared Picello.

Aside from its sales milestone achievement, GAC Philippines is also celebrating the arrival of the new GAC GS8 4WD model. The new variant promises to uplift customer demand for the flagship SUV giving them luxury and go-anywhere capabilities in one package.

While the GS8 was initially available in a two-wheel drive configuration, the new 4WD model builds on what it started by adding more features.

“The GS8 has had tremendous success since being launched in the Philippines and continues to be one of our best-selling nameplates. It is masterfully-designed to exude confidence on the road and is perfect for customers seeking distinction and refinement in their SUV,” added Decloedt.
