GAC Philippines has reached another significant milestone in the Philippines, surpassing 1,000 units in total retail sales for 2023 - a record achievement for the automaker since being under the global mobility company Astara.
GAC Motor achieved year-to-date retail sales of 1,017 units as of August. The figures are likewise reflected on the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) database. The 1000+ sales is evidence of the brand’s growing popularity in the country.
The brand’s growing success for 2023 can be attributed to the increasing popularity of its vehicles, such as the GAC GS8, which recently launched its 4WD model; the GAC GS3 Emzoom, its latest subcompact crossover; and the GAC Emkoo, another crossover to join the local lineup. These vehicles consistently demonstrate GAC Motor’s commitment to high quality, fine craftsmanship, and innovation.
Despite its premium pricing, the GAC GS8 is one of the brand’s best-selling models, as it has sold over 320 units from January to August of 2023.

The company also appointed four new dealers, which will be part of the growing network to sell GAC Motor vehicles and offer after-sales service.
Decloedt added, “We are fully committed to accelerate our network growth across the country, as this will enhance the accessibility of GAC and help ensure a convenient purchase and worry-free after-sales experience for all our customers wherever they may be.”
