Honda Cars Philippines Inc. has just officially announced the upcoming launch of the New Honda City on July 13, 2023. It is now taking in reservations for the facelifted City through its website, www.hondaphil.com, and its dealerships nationwide.
Reservations taken from July 1 to 12, 2023, will have a waived fee worth ₱5,000 as long as the units are purchased and released on or before August 31, 2023.

The foglight housings have also been reworked with a matching new front bumper design. A new wheel design comes with the refresh as well.
The rear bumper has likewise been revised and will contribute to the bolder stance of the new Honda City.
The following colors will be available based on trim:
- Ignite Red Metallic (RS, V, and S)
- Obsidian Blue Pearl (New color; RS and V)
- Platinum White Pearl (RS and V) - Additional ₱20,000

Upgraded safety and tech
Aside from including Honda SENSING safety, the new Honda City will also have Vehicle Stability Assist and front and side airbags across all variants.
The new Honda City will also feature a new digital instrument cluster which HCPI says adds further personalization by the vehicle user. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via an 8-inch touchscreen audio will be available in the S, V, and RS variants.
Same engine
The new Honda City will retain the 1.5-liter Double Overhead Cam i-VTEC engine and CVT combo with 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. So nothing new there. Also not new is the ease of maintenance HCPI promises for the new Honda City with its twice-a-year PMS scheduling.
