MG Philippines kicked off their roadshow and concert tour by holding the first leg of 'MG Live!' at SM Marikina.

The event is being held from Oct. 17-23, 2022, with a free live concert by indie-pop group This Band on the 23rd at 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, OPM legends Parokya ni Edgar will perform at the second leg on Nov. 3 to 6, 2022 at Nuvali Solenad I in Laguna. The final leg will be at the Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive on Nov. 10-13, 2022.

Admission is free in all legs.

The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the official importer and distributor of MG cars in the Philippines, said in a press statement that the company has held five concerts since ‘MG Live!' started in 2019.

"Music is an integral part of the MG brand language," the company said. "It embodies vibrance and energy and allows MG Philippines to connect with its core audience of youthful and progressive urbanites." 

"MG Live! 2022 aims to deepen these connections by showcasing MG Philippines' stable of modern, attainable, and stylish British heritage cars and SUVs, while simultaneously providing an extraordinary live concert experience," TCCCI added.

Prizes up for grabs for test-drives

The company said those who test an MG vehicle at ‘MG Live!' are entitled to one raffle entry.

Customers may test more than one MG, but only one raffle entry for each person is recorded. The prizes include:

• One Sony Playstation 5

• Two Apple Watch SE

• Three pairs of Apple Airpods Pro

TCCCI said customers can also get exclusive deals on brand-new MG cars. These include low downpayment offers of just PhP 35,000 or cash discounts of up to Php 100k on select variants of the MG HS crossover.

Meanwhile, clients who are interested in the MG 5 Sedan can get up to PhP 70,000 off for cash purchases or get a low downpayment option at just PhP 48,000.

October 2022 also marks the fourth anniversary of MG Philippines. TCCCI said the Chinese carmaker sold 20,888 units in the country as of September 2022.
