When people say that the modern automotive popularity lies in crossover vehicles, I believe them and I understand why as I prefer crossovers too. Not because the hype is in crossovers, but I prefer it over other car types because of its versatility. It gives you the comfortability of a sedan with the functionalities of an SUV. It comes with more space than the sedan without having the responsibility to maneuver a massive regular-size sport utility vehicle. It just compensates for what you need on a normal day-to-day basis. It supplements the needs of an individual and has the flexibility to address the needs of the whole family.

However, there are matters to consider as to whether a crossover can or cannot perform according to its flexibility to accommodate several people and handle its dimensions when performing on the road. Upon taking the all-new Honda BR-V to a road test, I can say that the manufacturer’s promise way before has managed to impress me. Its 1.5-liter gasoline-powered engine is capable of bringing a powerful output on a simple city drive compared to its competitors of the same class. When I took the highway to test its highway capacity, it downgraded but still performed well during a two-hour drive averaging 80 kilometers per hour speed.

The 2022 Honda BR-V comes with almost the same components under the hood as the outgoing version, and even so, I could tell that the performance is upgraded. It feels like the overall performance of the new version is premium, that it is more reliable than the first-generation BR-V. Nevertheless, whether it has improved or not, it is still the best among other subcompact crossover SUVs in the market today, and is still the best in its classification. Plus, the new dimensions are a factor in the performance of the new-generation BR-V.
