There’s good news for those who have made reservations for Suzuki’s latest addition to its adventure touring stable, the V-STROM 250 SX.

Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) just recently announced the arrival of units at its dealerships nationwide. So you better get in touch with your dealer as your much-awaited V-STROM 250 SX might already be available for pick-up.

For those who missed its official launch last October, the V-STROM 250 SX is Suzuki’s entry-level offering in their V-STROM line-up. Unlike its bigger siblings, the V-STROM 1050XT and V-STROM 650XT, V-STROM 250 SX does not feature a V-twin engine configuration.

Instead, it sports a 249 cc, oil-cooled thumper, which produces 19.5 kW and 22.2 Nm. Despite having relatively modest displacement, Suzuki attests that the V-STROM 250 SX is every bit the adventure bike.  

Inspired by Suzuki’s MotoGP design, it has a lightweight engine, giving it a complete weight reduction that allows easy handling and comfort while riding. The V-STROM 250 SX took styling cues from Suzuki’s legendary DR-Z racer and DR-BIG off-road models.

It comes with a well-rounded chassis, a tuned Dual Exhaust Muffler, and Full-Digital Inverted Instrument Panel for a full-on sporty, and adventurous ride experience.

The V-STROM 250 SX also has features that are sure to secure safe and convenient adventure travel. It has knuckle covers that protect the hands of the rider from debris and a windscreen to shield the rider from the elements.

The large diameter front fork gives a generous 120mm of travel while the rear has a 7-step pre-load adjustment.
