Suzuki Philippines (SPH) recently held the Raider R150 Fi Econo Run Mindanao, where 67 Raider R150 Fi owners in the region took on the challenge of achieving the best fuel economy on a 94.4-kilometer route in Davao del Norte.

Participants converged on the early morning of June 25, 2023 (Sunday) at the Gas Island Tagum Station for motorcycle unit inspection and fueling. Riders were greeted with fair weather despite the heavy rains of the previous day. The route consisted mostly of flat, straight roads with a few rough patches along the way.

The econo run ended at the same gas station, where individual fuel mileages were recorded by SPH staff. After refueling, all participants were invited for meals and socials at the Hijo Resort, where the official awarding was also held for the top five best fuel mileages.

Karl Diaz got first place, clocking in at 98.91 kilometers per liter. He was followed by Annel Madrid with 92.66 kilometers per liter. The lone female participant Ann Marie Aranjuez came in at third place with 86.16 kilometers per liter. In fourth place was Michael Lumocho with 82.76 kilometers per liter, and in fifth place was Eduardo Laureno with 81.96 kilometers per liter.

The top five placers each received ₱ 5,000 cash, while all participants were awarded certificates of participation on top of the exclusive Suzuki merchandise given to them.

The Raider R150 Fi, together with its twin, the Raider R150 Carb, currently makes up 60% of Suzuki sales in the Mindanao region.
