Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) just held the public launch of the updated 2023 Click125 at the Market! Market! in Taguig City. The Click125 is the best-selling scooter in the country, and this latest version has been much-anticipated by the discriminating 125 cc market segment.
The good news is HPI announced that the all-new Click125 will be produced locally beginning in January of next year to address potential supply issues.
“The Click125 is the go-to scooter of our modern-day heroes, our delivery riders. They have kept the economy going during the lockdown, and they continue still, now that mobility and commerce restrictions have already been lifted. We wouldn’t want to let them down, so we will be producing Click125 units in our Batangas plant to ensure that there is enough supply to accommodate the high demand,” said Raymund Cristobal, HPI National Sales Manager. “We have also made relevant updates on the all-new Click125 to make it a more suitable delivery mule,” he added.

As we shared in our pre-launch primer, the 2023 Honda Click125 now has a USB port so riders can keep their phones charged all day long. It also comes with a new wavy disc in front for better braking. Honda also fitted the all-new Click125 with wider 90/80-14 (front) and 100/80-14 (rear) tires for additional traction.
There are also minor changes in the upper front and side panels to make them more aerodynamic. HPI’s claimed mileage for the all-new Click125 is 50.3 kilometers per liter, which is lower by a kilometer or two compared to the previous version. This is probably due to the fatter rubbers.
This brings us to the bad news. We are only getting the CBS (combi-brake system) variant for the 2023 Honda Click125 as the ISS (Idling Stop System) variant available in neighboring Indonesia won’t make it to our shores. The latter variant would have offered better fuel mileage, but HPI’s goal, for now, is to keep the price competitive so that the all-new Click125 will be available to a wider range of buyers.
The 2023 Honda Click125 has an SRP of ₱80,900, and it comes in five eye-catching colors: Pearl Crimson Red, Pearl Sylvestris Gray, Stellar Blue Metallic, Pearl Arctic White, and Obsidian Black Metallic.
Dubbed the Ultimate Game-changer, do you think the all-new Click125 will make waves in the cutthroat commuter scooter segment?
