The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) recently reported that the Philippine automotive industry logged 352,596 units sold for 2022’s entirety.

The abovementioned sales figure was the highest since 2019’s 369,941 passenger cars (PCs), light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and commercial vehicles (CVs) CAMPI-TMA joint sales tally.

The 2022 CAMPI-TMA sales statistic wasn’t as high as the 425,673 autos sold in 2017, but it was markedly better than the 268,488 four-odd wheeled vehicles logged by the Philippine auto industry in 2021.
