The Ford Territory has proven to be a popular vehicle for the "Blue Oval" brand, achieving two significant milestones since its introduction in August 2020. 

The first milestone is for the next-generation version of the small Ford SUV, as it was able to sell 5,000 units five months after its launch at the Manila International Auto Show in April 2023.

This leads to the second milestone, with overall vehicle sales reaching over 25,000 units sold since the first iteration.

Hitting these sales milestones is a testament to the vehicle’s sustained popularity and appeal among first-time car buyers, young professionals and small families looking for a smart, safe and stylish SUV.

Why it has become a hit

The Ford Territory has become a hit with the local market thanks to its impressive spec sheet and exterior styling.

The next-gen Territory is available in two variants, the Titanium and the Titanium X, each bringing unique features and styling. 

Exterior highlights include the new 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels for the Titanium and the Titanium X, respectively, as well as the panoramic moonroof available on Titanium X that allows more natural light inside the cabin.

All models are equipped with a 12-inch central touchscreen complemented with a 7-inch (Titanium) or 12-inch (Titanium X) digital instrument cluster that provides access to controls of all vehicle functions.

Power has also increased over the previous iteration as its 1.5-liter Ecoboost inline-4 gasoline engine pushes out 160 PS and 248 Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Territory is also packed with impressive safety features, such as Active Park Assist, a 360-degree Camera and a Blind Spot Information System with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

At the same time, the Titanium X ups the ante on safety features with the addition of Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop &Go.

Both variants of the Territory also have a 5-year/150,000-km warranty, whichever comes first.
