Cavite once again has two Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) dealerships following the recent opening of Isuzu Dasmarinas.

The Japanese carmaker said in a September 2023 press statement that this is the second dealer of Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), which also operates Isuzu Bacoor. IDI had also handled Isuzu Imus before its permanent closure.

Situated along the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, the new dealership has a total land area of 5,000 square meters with a spacious showroom that can display up to three vehicles, including trucks. The expansive façade incorporates the brand’s new Isuzu Outlet Standard design. 

Isuzu Dasmarinas also has a comfortable customer lounge. Meanwhile, the extensive service shop has seven bays that can cater to light commercial vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. 

IDI president Toti Zara, who is also the president of Ayala Corporation’s automotive arm AC Motors, said the Isuzu brand comprises one-third of IDI’s business.

“And with this relocation, we expect better returns in the future as it is located at the crossroads of two major thoroughfares, meaning there will be better visibility and accessibility to our customers in the area,” he said. 

“The opening is also very timely, since the industry is expecting to reach pre-pandemic level by the end of the year, hopefully fully recovered by next year,” said Zara added.

Meanwhile, IPC president Tetsuya Fujita said Dasmarinas is one of the most competitive cities in the country.

“Dasmarinas’ growth over the past years has shown to be strategic for Isuzu to set foot in this area,” he said. 

“We are happy that through IDI the brand will have a bigger presence not just in this city but in the entire province in the years to come,” Fujita added. “We are confident that with IDI’s expertise in providing excellent customer service will be able to take good care of our customers in this area similar to other dealerships they operate.”

The newly opened Isuzu Dasmarinas outlet joins 48 other Isuzu dealerships located across the country.
