The Hyundai Reina is a basic car with a very friendly price point especially to first car owners. Let’s see what’s more in this review of the Hyundai Reina.

Maybe this is the first time you are acquainted with the Hyundai Reina. Maybe you have seen it but not sure where, juts like that school or office crush you have where you kind of see him or her (or any pronoun) anywhere but not particularly somewhere, only to find he or she has a twin or an older brother or sister! The Hyundai Reina is the same, with the Accent as its elder sibling, and there might be times where you have misplaced which is whom. Like in real people, the Hyundai Reina is more pure, more basic, more attuned to reality than the expectations you have for your crush. But this does not mean the Reina is less; you just have to know it more to find out its best qualities.
Driving the Hyundai Reina does not make one feel so special, that is if you have driven another car before, but owning a Reina as your fist car – oh well, the firsts are truly remarkable. With its 1.4L in-line 4-cylinder gasoline engine which produces 95 horsepower and 132 Newton meters of torque, paired with either a manual or automatic transmission, the Reina is something basic. But basic with your first crush will always be one for the books. The ride, albeit normal with the right stiffness of suspension will always be magical. The steering is light, like walking together, heart in hand in the wee hours of the day. Power is adequate but to the first-time owner, it will be as strong as it could be. Even if the Reina, however, is fuel efficient enough, as a person spending on another person for the first time, the cost might be overwhelming, but don’t fret because the Reina does not gulp gasoline; it sips it like your date drinking lemonade, showing his or her best foot forward.
The exterior and interior of the Reina may seem a bit bland and basic, but the honeymoon effect makes everything covered in gold powdery dust. The aggressive front facia, with its bright halogen headlights, its sleek body, 14-inch rims and wheels, to the seemingly less back end. But as your first crush, you will forgive the Reina for its physical inadequacies as it’s compensated elsewhere.
Getting inside the Reina is a good feeling. (I meant getting inside its cabin!) There are dual SRS airbags that make you feel safe every time, ABS as well. Plastics all over, with no center console and a weird placement of window buttons. Still, you’ll love the Reina for what it is. Dual speakers at the front makes the Reina not so loud. Cabin noise while driving is also tolerable. It’s like someone who speaks but also listens. Fabric seats make you feel comfortable. The car is basic, but to the eyes of a first lover, it’s enough.
To end, the Reina is a first that some of us wants to experience and cherish. It is a great memory that will always make us feel better at night or smile without reason at times. It is a great first car but like all firsts, sometimes, it doesn’t last at all, as you compare the Reina to its peers, and your jaw drops wanting, asking, begging for more.
