Hyundai has already revealed the exterior design of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe through its many teasers of the vehicle.
However, the South Korean company has confirmed that the all-new crossover will make its global debut on Aug. 10, 2023.
The 2024 Santa Fe has a new radical design that shows off a boxier look compared to its more angular current iteration.
It also has new H-shaped LED headlights and a polarizing set of H-shaped tail lights in the middle of the vehicle's rear. It's a rather interesting design, which gives it a more SUV-like vibe, a la Land Rover Defender.
Aside from the launch date confirmation, Hyundai has also released more photos of the vehicle, providing a few more hints as to what it could come with.
The South Korean automaker released images of a copper-colored version of the crossover, which has “2.5T” and “HTRAC” badging.
This indicates that the new Hyundai Santa Fe could come with a turbocharged 2.5-liter motor and all-wheel drive for its top-spec model.
We don’t know the exact power figures of the new engine, but we expect a hybrid and plug-in version of the crossover to debut. The 2.2-liter turbodiesel could also be retained for the all-new Santa Fe, but could likely only be available in specific markets with high demand for oil burners.
We can also expect the crossover to come with various wheel sizes, with reports stating that it could have 18s, 20s or even a set of 21-inch alloys, depending on the model.
As for the inside of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, it will feature the brand’s new cabin styling, with a large infotainment system being the centerpiece.
It will also adopt a digital instrument cluster attached to the prominent center display for a more seamless design.
It's a waiting game to see what Hyundai has in store for the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe once it makes its global debut on Aug. 10, 2023.
