If you’re in the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) area in Pasay City, you can experience plenty of holiday spirit while riding an all-new Hyundai.
Hyundai Motor Philippines announced in a November 2022 press statement that it has partnered with mall giant SM for its MOA Night of Lights event, which will run from November 30, 2022, to January 8, 2023, at the SM MOA Concert Grounds in Pasay City.
The company said the event is an “immersive, audiovisual, drive-through experience” through seven huge, Disney-themed zones featuring popular characters from films like Cars, Frozen, and Toy Story.
Guests of all ages are welcome. They just need to present a single receipt worth at least ₱1,500 from any establishment of MOA, SM by the BAY, S Maison, MOA Square, or IKEA, combined with ₱500 worth of Disney merchandise from the SM Store, Toy Kingdom, SM Hypermarket, Watsons, Uniqlo, Miniso, Pandora, H&M, Havaianas, Crocs or Nike MOA or S Maison branch.
One receipt equals one entry pass, with visitors also welcome to experience the exhibit in a Hyundai Creta, Tucson, Stargazer, or Staria during the entire first week and every weekend after that.
Guests will not be allowed to drive or take the cars outside the venue.
“The MOA Concert Grounds has been turned into the happiest place in the Philippines and we can’t wait for everyone to come by there and have a magical evening with us and our cars.” said Hyundai Motor Philippines president Dongwook Lee.
The company said there are various MOA Night of Lights registration booths. These include:
Level 1 South Main Mall near Panda Express
Level 2 South Main Mall near Zara
Level 2 MOA Square near Koomi
Level 1 S Maison Concierge

Customers will be asked to select their preferred date and time. A confirmation ticket will be sent via email and used for validation upon arrival at the venue.
Hyundai said only receipts from the five aforementioned locations dated from November 26, 2022, until January 8, 2023, will be accepted.
Hyundai’s first Filipino Christmas
Lee said the carmaker's tie-up with SM is part of the carmaker’s vision of "Progress for Humanity."
"This means redefining mobility and doing the right thing for humanity whether they be through breakthrough innovations or meaningful partnerships,” he said.
“This is our first Christmas as Hyundai Motor Philippines, and we want to celebrate it with our Filipino customers by putting smiles on their faces and bringing them quality time, which is to us the most precious commodity,” Lee added.
On July 2022, Hyundai Motor Philippines took over the Korean brand’s passenger car operations from longtime distributor Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., which Maria Fe Perez-Agudo headed.
Hyundai’s commercial-vehicle operations remain with Perez-Agudo under Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc.
The Korean carmaker said visitors who ride in a Hyundai would get a branded umbrella and a limited-edition Camelbak water bottle for those who make a reservation for a new Hyundai onsite.
Hyundai has also set up a customer lounge with a showroom that displays the latest Hyundai models.
Guests can also get a free, freshly brewed beverage from coffee machines powered entirely by the upcoming Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicle.
