GAC Philippines is going strong as the brand has hit another sales record for October. The company has announced that it has had its best-ever October performance, with total retail sales hitting 523 percent year-over-year to 268 units.

The record sales for the month were another achievement for the brand in 2023 since being under Astara. The partnership has helped its year-to-date sales rise to 1,488 units, a 305% increase over last year.

The growth of GAC Philippines can be attributed to its new lineup of vehicles. These include the GS3 Emzoom and the GS8 SUV, which have seen an ever-increasing demand helping with sales. 

On the rise

The GAC GS3 EMZOOM continued to be in high demand, with year-to-date sales of 423 units since launch. The crossover has wowed buyers with its power, features, and technology, all at an affordable price point with its futuristic design language. 

The flagship GAC GS8 SUV is also in high demand as it has year-to-date sales of 378 units and is one of its most successful nameplates. It offers premium and prestige with the brand’s latest technology and features and is now available in a 4WD variant. 

Meanwhile, the GAC Emkoo and Empow have also achieved good sales success as the crossover has garnered 124 sold units. On the other hand, its sedan counterpart could sell 118 units, demonstrating a strong demand for both vehicles.

On track for brand expansion

The automaker is on track with its plans to expand its dealer network to 20 locations by the end of 2023, with GAC celebrating the inauguration of its latest Cainta facility last October 11.
