Jetour Global reports it has already reached 720,000 units sold since it was established in 2018. And with production ramping up and more global markets being tapped, the Chinese SUV brand aims to get 500,000 cars sold this year alone.
According to a statement released by Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI), its parent company sold 200,000 vehicles from January to May 2023 and is well on track to achieve its target. Jetour also aims to sell 1,000,000 units by 2025 and 1,270,000 by 2027.
JAPI is looking to contribute more than 1,000 vehicles to the brand's global sales this year.
"We are excited to have been a part of this important milestone," said Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of JETOUR Auto Philippines. "This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team here and abroad, as well as the enthusiastic support of our customers towards our brand and products. We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with innovative, affordable, reliable, and safe vehicles that will let them savor the joys of traveling."
Jetour has dealerships located in Alabang, Bacolod, Batangas, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Cubao, Davao, Eton Centris, Fairview, General Santos, Iloilo, Isabela, Las Piñas, Pampanga, Pasay, and Quezon Avenue. It is targeting nearly 20 dealerships and service centers to become operational by the end of 2023.
The Jetour brand was formally introduced to the public at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show last April. Its lineup includes the seven-seat Jetour X70 and X70 Plus models, and the Jetour Dashing and is available with innovative promotions until the end of July.
They come with an industry-leading six-year or 1,000,000-kilometer general warranty and a separate 10-year or 1,000,000-kilometer engine warranty.
Jetour Auto Philippines is also the first official Chinese mini-EV distributor with its Ice Cream. It has a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 120,000-kilometer warranty on its battery pack.
JAPI is also planning to introduce the Jetour T2, an off-road capable SUV undoubtedly inspired by the Land Rover Defender, this coming September. This model should also help JAPI achieve its targets for the year.
