Royal Enfield Philippines officially unveiled the much-anticipated Hunter 350 on Feb. 10, 2023 at the Activity Center in Circuit Makati.
Engineered and designed for the urban hustle, the new Hunter 350 is a remixed roadster with the character of a Royal Enfield reimagined in a stylish and compact yet muscular geometry that can tackle crowded city streets, suburban backroads and beyond with aplomb.
Initially launched in Thailand for the Asia Pacific region, the Hunter 350 has already received great feedback from customers around the world.
For instance, it set a slew of milestones for Royal Enfield in India, with over 80,000 bookings and over 40,000 proud owners. The Hunter 350 has become the highest volume contributor for Royal Enfield in India.
“We have consistently launched motorcycles which meet the needs of the riders," said Royal Enfield Asia Pacific business head Anuj Dua.
"We have an extremely loyal community in the Philippines, wherein our customers are our biggest brand advocates," he added. "The Hunter 350, is a result of extensive feedback from riders and communities on what their perfect motorcycle would look like. It just seemed the most natural thing in the world for Royal Enfield to develop a fun, lighter and more agile 350 roadster."
Two variants
It comes in two distinct editions
– Metro Rebel and Metro Dapper
– both finished with on-trend, blacked-out engines and components.
Both models are equipped with alloy wheels and wider 110/70/17 front and 140/70/17 rear tubeless tires for superior handling and muscular good looks, 300 mm front and 270 mm rear disc brakes, dual-channel anti-lock brakes and a handy center stand.
An LED tail lamp and a premium digital-analog instrument cluster that displays the odometer, tripmeter, gear indicator, fuel graph bar with low fuel warning, clock and a service reminder complete this stylish package.
All Hunter editions feature uncluttered handlebar controls, with their rotary power and lighting switches giving a gentle nod to the past, and are fitted with a USB charging port.
Sprightlier handling
The chassis geometry on the Hunter 350 is designed to give the optimal height-to-weight ratio while offering superior comfort, thanks to its wide, long, one-piece seat.
With revised rake and trail angles, a lower 800 mm seat height and shorter wheelbase, the Hunter's exceptional maneuverability encourages greater confidence when carving through cramped streets and feels planted and stable in every location and situation.
The Hunter is powered by the globally acclaimed 349cc air-oil cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine recently launched on the Meteor and Classic 350.
Fuel-injected, it produces 20 PS at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM, resulting in strong, low-end grunt and smooth, linear power delivery with an engine calibration to give a lively throttle response and a distinctive exhaust note to suit its character.
With a primary balancer shaft to cut down vibrations, it feels both responsive and refined, while its gear shifting is crisp and smooth thanks to an optimized 5-speed gearbox.
Youthful roadster
Aimed at a younger lifestyle and motorcycling audience, the Hunter 350 is available for bookings in the Philippines across all Royal Enfield Stores.
Prices start at ₱231,000 for the Dapper Series, while the Rebel Series is ₱233,000.
There is no age limit, though. If you fancy Royal Enfield’s zippy little roadster then just go ahead and get one.
Royal Enfield Motorcycles is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Hardcore Brothers Custom Motorcycles, Inc.
