FAST DEAL: ₱6,256 a month for a brand-new Toyota Wigo this December 2022

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) may not have four hummingbirds, three French hens, and two turtle doves, but it has enough deals to fill your 12 days of Christmas with cars.

In a December 2022 press statement, the carmaker announced that it is offering three promos for 12 Toyota models until Dec. 31, 2022. These include:

  • Pay Low – 15-percent downpayment, 60 months to pay, includes free insurance, three-year LTO registration with no chattel mortgage

  • Pay Light – 50-percent downpayment, 60 months to pay

  • Cash Savings – discount for straight-cash purchase

Those who want small monthly payments with the Pay Light option can get a brand-new Toyota Wigo and pay just ₱6,256 monthly.

Meanwhile, those who want a larger Toyota Vios can pay just ₱8,212 a month, while owners of a new Toyota Raize can get an amortization of just ₱10,110 a month.

For the Pay Low option, the company said popular models like the Vios XLE CVT could be taken home with a downpayment of ₱115,350.

Those who need more space can get a Toyota Innova J manual turbodiesel at a ₱178,650 downpayment. Those who want a bit of Gazoo Racing flair in their drive can bring home a Toyota Rush GR-S by putting down ₱176,400.

People who don’t want to bother with computing financing interest rates can get discounts when they buy a new Toyota in cash. These include:

  • ₱50,000 offToyota Corolla Altis

  • ₱45,000 off – Toyota Vios XLE CVT

  • ₱20,000 off – Toyota Innova E M/T and A/T

  • ₱20,000 off Toyota Fortuner 4x2 G A/T diesel and Fortuner 4x4 LTD

  • ₱15,000 off – Toyota Fortuner 4x2 G M/T Diesel

  • ₱10,000 off – Toyota Innova V, G, and J variants

And those who trade in their old Toyotas for a new one can get a rebate. The company said customers could get up to ₱35,000 when they trade in a Wigo or Vios for an Innova.

Those who move up from a Vios to a Raize G CVT can get a ₱30,000 rebate, while those who trade in a Vios for a Toyota Veloz, Avanza, Raize E, or Raize Turbo can get ₱20,000.

Finally, all Toyota vehicles are entitled to a ₱10,000 rebate when traded with any model.

Free PMS and insurance

TMP said it also offers free preventive maintenance service (PMS) within 18 months of buying a brand-new Toyota Hiace, Toyota Hilux, Vios, Corolla Altis, Raize, Avanza, Veloz, Rush, Innova, or Fortuner.

People who bought a Lite Ace during the December 2022 promo only need to pay ₱1,999 from the 1,000-kilometer PMS to the 40,000-kilometer PMS within 24 months of the vehicle’s release.

TMP said Lite Aces require a PMS every 5,000 kilometers for nine services.

Meanwhile, all new Vios, Corolla Altis, Raize, Avanza, Veloz, Rush, Innova, Fortuner, Hilux, and Hiace purchased in December are eligible for free one-year comprehensive insurance, starting from the day of release.

The policy provided by Toyota Insure covers the following:

  • Emergency Roadside Assistance

  • Own Damage

  • Loss/Theft

  • Excess Bodily Injury

  • Property Damage

  • Acts of Nature

  • Passenger Auto Personal Accident Insurance

And finally, Toyota said it would provide a free extended warranty with every new Vios G, E, and XLE purchased from accredited Toyota dealers. This covers five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Do you think it's now the most wonderful time to buy a Toyota?
