2023 Manila International Auto Show: Cars you can look forward to!

These automakers have even released several teasers for their upcoming cars to build hype for them before their grand reveal.

That said, we will quickly cover the different models that are appearing at the auto show. Some brands have already stated what they will showcase at the event, while others have yet to fully reveal what they intend to launch.

The list is in alphabetical order.

Changan

First up, we have Changan Philippines.

While the automaker hasn’t explicitly stated what it might showcase for MIAS 2023, we can expect them to have a display of its popular models.

Expect to see the likes of the Alsvin, CS35 Plus and CS55 Plus, along with the UNI-T and UNI-K crossovers that debuted last year.

Chery

Chery Philippines is a brand to watch as they reportedly launch three new crossover variants at MIAS 2023.

At the same time, these have yet to be officially confirmed.

The automaker has released several teasers on its Facebook page for what appears to be hybrid versions of the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Tiggo 5x and a new variant of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro.

Aside from this, expect to see the rest of the brand’s vehicle lineup at the event.

Ford

You’ve probably seen the teaser and the official reservation website as Ford Philippines will launch the 2023 Ford Territory at the MIAS 2023.

It has an all-new design, a more powerful engine and more features.

Aside from the new Territory, expect to see displays of the Ford Ranger and the Ford Everest

Foton

What Foton Philippines has in store for the event is still a mystery.

However, we can expect the brand to showcase its latest lineup of vehicles, such as the facelifted Foton Thunder pickup truck, the new Foton Traveller variant and possibly its new light-duty, battery-electric truck.

GAC

GAC Philippines enters MIAS 2023 with two models to showcase.

The first is the top-of-the-line GAC Empow GE, which wasn’t available during its launch. At the same time, the GAC Emkoo will reportedly debut at the show.

The Emkoo is a compact crossover that will go up against established names in its segment. It has a similar engine and transmission to the Empow, so you can expect a sporty crossover.

Geely

Geely Philippines will likely show off its entire lineup of vehicles, including the Coolray, Okavango, Azkarra and Emgrand.

However, one of our sources within the brand has stated that it could be launching the Geely GX3 Pro crossover that's set to fight the Toyota Raize.

Nothing is set in stone yet as the automaker is determining if the display model will make it on time to the show.

GWM

GWM (Great Wall Motors) Philippines, a new brand in the country, will debut at MIAS 2023.

It will publicly launch the Haval H6 and Haval Jolion crossovers that are available with hybrid variants. It will also launch the GWM Cannon, its pickup truck entry into the market.

Hyundai

Hyundai Philippines will also be at MIAS 2023 and will definitely be one of the brands to look out for.

On display will be the Stargazer and Staria, along with its crossovers like the Tucson, Santa Fe and its IONIQ 5 electric vehicle (EV).

We can’t confirm if the South Korean automaker will unveil something new at the event, but some rumors suggest that the Hyundai Stargazer X could appear.

The Stargazer X is a unique version of the Stargazer that will reportedly carry more sport-utility-vehicle-like styling. It is what the Xpander Cross is to the Mitsubishi Xpander

Hyundai may also preview the IONIQ 6 EV at the show.

Jetour

Jetour Philippines is another new brand that will publicly debut at the Manila International Auto Show.

The brand already had a sneak-peek event for the media, showcasing its vehicle lineup. Expect to see the likes of the Ice Cream EV, the Dashing, the X70 and the X70 Plus on display.

Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Philippines will also be at MIAS 2023, but we don’t know if they will release anything all-new.

The brand will likely showcase its lineup of vehicles, along with a few limited/special edition variants, such as the 60th anniversary Xpander Cross and the special-edition Strada

MG

MG Philippines will be at the show displaying its local lineup of cars.

While not much is known if it will launch an all-new model, what is known is that the MG GT will be highlighted as the brand’s most recent launch vehicle.

Aside from this, expect to see the MG HS and MG ZS T showcased at its booth.

Nissan

Nissan Philippines could have something special at MIAS 2023, as rumors suggest it could debut the Nissan 400Z.

It has yet to be confirmed, but we know that the brand will display its local lineup of vehicles, including the likes of the Nissan Navara, Nissan Terra, and its new Sport variant, Nissan LEAF and the Nissan Livina

Peugeot

Peugeot Philippines has something special in store for MIAS 2023 as it will reveal the Peugeot e-2008, an electric version of the 2008 crossover.

It will be a momentous occasion for the brand as it will be its first electric vehicle (EV) in the country.

Aside from the new EV, the French automaker will also display its current lineup of cars, such as the 2008, 3008, 5008 and the Traveller Premium

Subaru

Subaru Philippines could have some interesting displays at MIAS 2023.

We could also see the updated Subaru Forester, along with a revamped version of the Subaru Evoltis. There is no word if the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will make an appearance.

This rounds up the new car models launching at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show. Which ones are you most excited about?
