The many faces of the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton

The 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is now out in the open. The all-new Strada replacement has impressed truck fans with its “Beast Mode” design ethos, new platform and engine, and modern amenities and features.

The all-new Triton’s more muscular and imposing stance makes a statement from the get-go. And the interior is as modern and classy as you can get for a pickup.

Mitsubishi has even developed a new suspension that the Japanese carmaker says should provide “excellent ride comfort and steering ability.” And this is complemented by Super Select 4WD with seven driving modes and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution-derived Active Yaw Control.

A new 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine with three power options is also on the cards, and we hope that the 204 PS, 470 Nm version does make it to our shores. It will surely be a hit if the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor’s 600-unit two-month sales numbers are anything to go by.

And, of course, in today’s ADAS-infused safety-conscious world, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton doesn’t scrimp on driver aids and features. Adaptive Cruise Control,  Forward Collision Mitigation, Blind Sport Warning, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are some safety-focused inclusions in the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton.

Inside and out, you’ll get an all-new pickup with the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton. And it is pretty fitting for the unveil to happen in Thailand. The Land of Smiles is where most one-ton pickups and utes are built for domestic and ASEAN consumption and the rest of the world.

Because pickups have been an essential fixture in Thailand’s socio-economic backbone for decades, you can imagine why Mitsubishi would go all out to present the all-new Triton in the best way it can - with Triton World.

With all the mechanical and design improvements listed above, Mitsubishi decided to visualize in real-time how these features can help future 2024 Mitsubishi Triton owners achieve their intentions for the pickup.

Helped undoubtedly by the vibrant Thai automotive aftermarket, Triton World showcased a variety of setup and use case scenarios for the all-new pickup that will surely make onlookers seriously consider it.

Just take a look
