Toyota Philippines subtly updates the 2024 Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV

The car in question is the 2024 Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV. While on the outside, the sedan remains essentially the same as its original version in the country, TMP has given it a few subtle updates.

Starting with the sedan's outside, the new Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV gets a new set of 17-inch wheels with a unique multi-spoke design. Despite being the same size as before, the new wheel design looks bigger on the sedan.

Other changes to the Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV can be seen inside the vehicle.

It now gets a much bigger infotainment system that still supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It now has a 360-degree camera feature similar to what you would find inside the Toyota Zenix, which is handy for parking in tight situations.

Aside from this, the sedan also gets a new digital gauge cluster and an update to its Toyota Safety Sense.

It also gets a new wireless charging pad inside the vehicle that is nestled in the center console just below the dashboard.

Finally, the Toyota Corolla Altis GR-S HEV gets a new auto-dimming frameless rearview mirror for a cleaner-looking interior.

Despite the updates to the Toyota sedan, TMP has kept the pricing for the GR-S HEV model the same as before, as the sporty-looking sedan is still priced at ₱1,665,000.

What do you think of Toyota’s subtle updates to the Toyota Corolla Cross? Do these updates make the sedan even more enticing now?
