“Today, we unveil the Geely GX3 Pro – a testament to our unwavering dedication to best serve the Philippine automotive market,” said Geely Philippines vice president vehicle sales department Reginald See.

“The GX3 Pro is not just a compact vehicle,” he added. “It’s a revelation that challenges the notion of limitations.”

Meanwhile, Geely Philippines president and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji said the new crossover is aimed squarely at GenZ car buyers.

“Moreover, with this model, we shifted our strategy further for the dealerships to achieve a sustainable, comfortable growth,” he said. “And we have no doubt that this will be a big turning point to take us and the dealers’ business to the next level.”

Both are powered by a 1.5-liter, twin-cam, 16-valve inline-4 gasoline engine producing 103 PS and 142 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 5-speed manual in the S model and a continuously variable transmission in the Comfort model.

All GX3 Pro models also get 16-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights and electric mirrors as standard, along with leather-like PVC upholstery.

At the launch event, Kiyofuji also reiterated the brand’s G-SERV Plus package, which he calls “our brand’s testament to aftersales experience.”

“In order to serve the existing customers and the ones in the future, we have dedicated significant efforts to revamp our aftersales operation,” he said.

G-SERV Plus includes a 5-year/150,000-km warranty and 1 year of free roadside assistance.

Confirming our earlier report, the 2023 GX3 Pro is priced at:

  • S – ₱778,000

  • Comfort – ₱878,000

Both variants come with an introductory discount of ₱80,000.
