Who created it?

The Aurelio supercar was brought to life by the talented trio of brothers Kevin and Bryan Factor, along with Brendan Aurelio. Kevin specializes in researching the car's mechanical aspects, while Aurelio handles the interior and exterior designs. Bryan, with his expertise in investment and marketing, takes charge of the business side of things. United by their shared love for cars, they embarked on creating the Aurelio supercar to elevate the local automotive manufacturing scene in the Philippines.

Aurelio’s performance and engine specifications

The Aurelio offers two engine options that may not match the power of foreign supercars, but they still deliver impressive performance. The Honda B16A V-TEC engine, found in the old Honda Civic Si, and the 2.0-liter Mitsubishi 4G63T turbocharged engine provide a thrilling experience. With the Mitsubishi engine producing up to 457 horsepower, the Aurelio can reach speeds of nearly 290 kilometers per hour and complete a quarter-mile in under 10 seconds. Crafted from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass, the car features 18-inch Rota wheels and a VR4 front and rear suspension.

Interior

Step into the Aurelio and experience its unique interior design with scissor doors that add a touch of excitement. The cabin features sidepod construction made of durable fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and carbon fiber firewall components. While the exact interior specifications have not been revealed by the all-Filipino crew at Factor Aurelio Automobile, they offer customization options for features and upholstery, allowing buyers to personalize the car to their preferences and requirements. Get ready for a tailored driving experience inside the Aurelio.

Exterior

Prepare to be captivated by the unmistakable aura of the Aurelio supercar. Its exterior design draws inspiration from renowned names in the industry, resulting in a striking blend. The doors exhibit a resemblance to the McLaren P1, while the front fascia and contours bear a subtle hint of the Ferrari 458 Italia. The rear end showcases a touch of the Lamborghini Aventador's influence. Complementing its eye-catching appearance are vibrant paint options in orange or yellow, a sleek and low profile, and distinct sharp edges. Despite its European-like aesthetics, this remarkable creation hails from the Philippines, with approximately 80% of its parts and components sourced locally. With the exception of the wheels, transmission, certain suspension elements, brakes, and the engine, every aspect of this car reflects the ingenuity of the Philippines.

How much does the Aurelio Cost?

Factor Aurelio Automobile, the car producer, has limited production capacity, allowing them to produce only six to ten units per year due to their current manpower. Priced at P1.6 million, the Aurelio is in the same price range as a brand new entry-level Toyota 86. There are other production sports cars available at a similar price point, such as the Subaru BRZ 2.0Li RWD M/T (P1.928 million) and the Honda CR-Z standard M/T (P1.39 million), a sport compact hybrid electric automobile.
