The fuel consumption of the Toyota Vios is 20 km/l (the most fuel-efficient), and the highest fuel consumption is 24 km/l.
Fuel consumption is generally measured by road test methods. The constant speed 100km fuel consumption test is one of the easiest road tests, the result uesd to write as L/100 kilometers.
Here are the fuel preformance for Toyota Vios cars, according to Toyota official:
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 Base MT is 24 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 J MT is -.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 E MT is 24 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 E CVT is 24 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.5 G MT is 20 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.5 G CVT is 20 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios GR-S is 21 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 XE CVT is 24 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 XLE MT is 24 km/l.
The fuel consumption of 2021 Toyota Vios 1.3 XLE CVT is 24 km/l.
Vehicle fuel economy: the cycle fuel consumption under a certain test cycle driving situation and the constant speed fuel consumption under the condition of driving at a certain speed on a flat road are expressed.
What are the factors that affect fuel consumption?
1: Bad driving habits
2: Potholes on the road
3: Lack of maintenance
4: Use the trunk as a warehouse
5: Insufficient tire pressure, fuel consumption +1%
6: Low gear and high speed, fuel consumption +10%
7: Do not maintain the engine, fuel consumption +10%
There are several ways to calculate fuel consumption:
1. Divide the fuel cost by the mileage of the vehicle to get the fuel consumption per kilometer. This method is the simplest and least accurate. The fuel cost per kilometer obtained by multiplying the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers by the oil price divided by 100 is more accurate.
2. The vehicle is filled with oil first as the initial data, and then refilled after driving for a certain distance, subject to the data of the gas station. This method is to divide the fuel consumption of the vehicle by the mileage multiplied by 100 to get the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers.
3. It is more scientific to calculate the average fuel consumption. Suppose the vehicle travels 10,000 kilometers, record the refueling data of each time during this period, and calculate the average of the highest and lowest fuel consumption. This average is more scientific and worthy of adoption by car owners.

Our colleagues from Wapcar.my recently got their hands on a next-generation Toyota Vios Cup car in all its glory. They saw a sneak peek of the car during the Toyota Gazoo Malaysia Racing Festival in the last round of its sixth season. However, they noted that the racecar spec Vios did not have a manual gearbox. Instead, it was rocking a continuously variable transmission. But it's not all sour grapes, as Toyota did install these vehicles with carbon fiber paddle shifters to spice things up. Fans

Despite issues surrounding the 2024 Toyota Vios AC100 about its previous safety testing, the popular Japanese sedan still got a five-star rating from the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme (ASEAN NCAP). On April 2023, the Vios was caught in a crash-test scandal, where the vehicle tested where sample units were found to have had a notch in their door sidings that would minimize the risk during side impact testing. However, this would break with a sharp edge that could cause injury to the occupant
